FlexSoar — Terms of Service

Last updated: 26/08/2026

1. Who we are

FlexSoar is operated by William Imohi.

You can reach us at info@flexsoar.net.

By creating an account or using flexsoar.net, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. What FlexSoar is

FlexSoar is a marketplace for authenticated secondhand sneakers.

Every pair listed on FlexSoar is represented by a Card. A Card is a digital record of ownership of one specific physical pair of shoes. Cards can be bought, sold and traded on FlexSoar. The holder of a Card may at any time redeem it — meaning the Card is destroyed and we ship the physical shoes to them.

A Card is a claim on a specific, identified pair of shoes. It is not:

  • a security, share, unit, investment product or collective investment scheme
  • a cryptocurrency, token, or blockchain asset
  • money, e-money, stored value, or a payment instrument
  • a fractional interest in anything — one Card, one pair, always

There is no chance, randomisation, loot box, pack, crate or wager mechanic anywhere on FlexSoar, and there never will be. Every transaction is a purchase or exchange of an identified item at a known price.

3. Your account

You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter contracts.

One account per person. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure.

You must give accurate information, including your country of residence. Your country determines whether we can pay you (see section 10). Giving a false country does not create a right to be paid.

4. Listing shoes (Consignors)

If you list shoes on FlexSoar, this section applies to you and you are a Consignor.

4.1 What you promise

When you list a pair, you confirm that:

  • you own them outright and they are not stolen, subject to a dispute, or promised to anyone else
  • they are genuine. Counterfeits are the one thing we will never tolerate
  • your photographs are of the actual shoes and were taken recently
  • your condition assessment is honest to the best of your knowledge
  • you will not wear them, alter them, or lend them out while they are listed

4.2 Review

We review every submission before it goes live. Review is normally completed within 24 hours and we will email you when it is. We may reject a submission for any reason, including suspicion of counterfeit, insufficient photographs, or a condition assessment we cannot reconcile with the photographs.

Review is a documentary review, not a physical inspection. We have not held your shoes at this point. See section 11.

4.3 You keep the shoes until they sell

Until the Card first sells, the shoes stay with you. You hold them as bailee for their eventual buyer: they remain in your possession but you are responsible for their safekeeping.

You may withdraw an unsold listing at any time.

We may ask you to photograph the shoes again at any point to confirm you still hold them. You have 7 days to respond. Not responding is grounds for removing your listings and restricting your account.

4.4 When it sells, you have 48 hours

This is the most important obligation in these Terms.

When your Card first sells, ownership passes immediately to the buyer, and the Card is frozen — it cannot be resold, traded or redeemed by anyone.

You must ship the physical shoes to us within 48 hours, using the instructions we send you, and provide a tracking number.

You may not withdraw the listing after it has sold. The shoes are no longer yours.

4.5 If you do not ship

If the shoes do not reach us, we will:

  • cancel the sale and refund the buyer in full
  • destroy the Card
  • cancel your pending payout
  • restrict your account and remove your other live listings

Your payout is held for 7 days after a sale precisely so that this can be unwound without anyone chasing you for money already paid.

Repeatedly failing to ship, or shipping shoes that are not the shoes you listed, is fraud and we will treat it accordingly.

"Never shipped" and "shipped with tracking, courier lost it" have different outcomes. If you never ship, the actions above apply. If you ship within 48 hours with tracking and the courier loses the parcel, we absorb the loss.

4.6 Shipping to us

You arrange and pay for shipping to our vault using a tracked service. You only ship after a sale, so you are never out of pocket on a listing that hasn't sold.

Keep your tracking number — if you ship within 48 hours with tracking and the courier loses the parcel, we absorb the loss.

5. Buying

Prices are shown in US dollars. We do not display local-currency estimates, because comparability across the market matters more than familiarity.

When you buy a Card:

  • ownership passes to you on payment
  • if this is the Card's first sale, it is frozen until the shoes reach our vault. During this period you own the Card but cannot resell, trade or redeem it. This normally takes a few days
  • if the Consignor fails to deliver, we cancel and refund you in full, by the same method you paid

Once the shoes are vaulted, the Card becomes fully tradeable and redeemable.

Prices can go down. Nothing on FlexSoar is investment advice, we do not guarantee that any Card can be resold, and we do not guarantee a price. Market values shown on the site are our own estimates, not offers to buy.

6. The vault

Once shoes reach us we inspect them, record them, and store them.

While we hold them:

  • we store them in a secure, dry, climate-appropriate space
  • we do not wear, clean, alter or lend them
  • the Card holder is the owner; we are the custodian
  • shoes held for FlexSoar users are not our property and are not available to our creditors

7. Storage fees

Storing shoes costs money. From 26/8/2026, a storage fee accrues on every vaulted pair.

  • The fee accrues at $2 per pair every 14 days, starting when the shoes reach our vault
  • You are not billed and nothing is charged to you. The accrued amount is deducted when the Card next sells, or paid alongside shipping when it is redeemed
  • The current accrued amount is always shown on the Card
  • Accrual stops at 25% of the item's value. If it reaches that cap, we may sell the shoes, deduct what is owed and any costs, and remit the remainder to you. We will give you 14 days notice first and you can settle or redeem at any time before that

We keep the shoes until what is owed on them is settled.

8. Trading

You may offer a Card in exchange for another user's Card.

  • Both Cards must be active — a frozen or listed Card cannot be traded
  • Where the two Cards are not equal in value, the side receiving the more valuable Card pays the difference
  • We charge a fee on every trade. Ownership changing hands is what we charge for, whether by sale or by trade
  • Offer terms are locked when the offer is made and do not move if market values change before it is accepted
  • Offers expire after 72 hours

9. Redemption

You may redeem any active Card you hold. Redemption destroys the Card permanently and we ship you the shoes.

  • We quote you the shipping cost before the Card is destroyed. You confirm the quote; then it is burned
  • You pay shipping at cost, plus a handling fee. International shipping from Malaysia is expensive — typically USD 40–80 — and we do not mark it up
  • Import duties, taxes and customs charges in your country are yours. We cannot tell you what they will be
  • We ship within 5 business days of a confirmed quote
  • Redemption is final. There is no un-redeeming a Card

10. Getting paid

When your Card sells, your proceeds — the sale price less our commission and any accrued storage fee — become an amount owed to you by FlexSoar.

  • Proceeds are shown as owed to you, with the date they will be sent
  • Payment is held for 7 days after the sale, so that a cancelled or disputed transaction can be unwound before money leaves
  • After that, we send payment automatically in USDC on Solana, to the wallet you linked. Your wallet signs nothing for this — it is a straight transfer to your address
  • Once paid, the funds are yours: keep them, move them, or spend them on FlexSoar like any other buyer

Bank payouts to a bank account are not currently offered. If we bring them back, we will ask you to complete a one-time verification before your first withdrawal — selling and buying never require it.

We can only pay sellers in countries our payout provider supports. If we cannot pay you, you cannot list or sell — we will tell you before you try, not after. This is a limitation of international payment infrastructure, not a choice about who we want as sellers, and we are working to widen it.

11. Grading and authentication

Every Card states its source:

  • Seller-declared — the Consignor assessed the shoes themselves, and we reviewed their photographs. Nobody at FlexSoar has held these shoes
  • FlexSoar-graded — we have physically inspected them

A condition grade is an opinion, not a warranty. Photographs are the evidence behind it and are shown on every Card.

If you receive redeemed shoes that materially differ from the Card's stated condition, contact us within 7 days of delivery with photographs, and we will cross-check them against our pre-shipping photographs. If the shoes were damaged in shipping, we cover the cost.

If we determine shoes are counterfeit at any point, we will remove them, cancel any related sale, refund the buyer, and restrict the Consignor.

12. Fees

  • Seller commission: a percentage of the sale price, shown before you list
  • Trade fee: charged on trades, shown before you make an offer
  • Storage fee: see section 7
  • Redemption: shipping at cost, plus a handling fee, quoted before you commit

We will give 30 days notice before increasing any fee. Changes do not apply retroactively to a sale already completed.

13. Things you must not do

  • List counterfeit, stolen, or misrepresented goods
  • Trade with yourself, or with accounts you control, to create a false impression of price or activity
  • Use more than one account to get around a restriction
  • Interfere with the site, scrape it, or attempt to bypass its controls
  • Use FlexSoar to launder money or move the proceeds of crime

We may restrict or close an account that does any of these, cancel affected transactions, and withhold payouts pending investigation.

14. Loss, damage and liability

If shoes in our custody are lost or damaged while we hold them, we will refund the last sale price or, where there is no sale price or it no longer reflects the item's value, the market value at the time of loss.

We are not responsible for:

  • loss or damage while shoes are with a Consignor, before they reach us
  • customs seizure, duties or import restrictions in your country
  • a Card's market value going up or down

15. Suspension, closure and shutting down

You may close your account at any time. Before we can close it, you must redeem or sell any Cards you hold and we must have paid you anything owed.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms.

If FlexSoar ever ceases operating, we will give you at least 60 days notice, during which you may redeem your Cards.

16. Disputes and governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and the courts of Malaysia have jurisdiction.

Talk to us first — info@flexsoar.net. Most things are resolvable without anyone involving lawyers.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If a change materially affects your rights, we will give 30 days notice by email. Continuing to use FlexSoar after that means you accept the change.

Transactions already completed are governed by the Terms in force at the time.
